Jazz Band Rehearsal Information

-  The ensemble will rehearse 3 days a week after school. One of these days will be a late rehearsal for Jazz #1 ONLY. There will be additional rehearsals scheduled in the event weather prevents us from practicing. All rehearsals are mandatory in order to ensure success of the entire ensemble. Please let YOUR Jazz Director know if you are ill. If you are in school, you are expected to be at rehearsal. If there is a family emergency, please have your parent or guardian contact YOUR DIRECTOR.

- Texting your absence to a section leader is NOT acceptable.       

-  Our season is SHORT, so we need to hit the ground running. Missed rehearsals cannot be tolerated. As a staff, we will guarantee that our rehearsals will be busy, geared to improvement and development of skills, and will be worth your time. Please do not hold our group back by missing rehearsals.   

-  You will be asked to leave the ensemble for any absence that result in preventing the group from improving.                       

Monday- Jazz #1 & Jazz Too 3:30 - 5:15

Tuesday- Jazz #1 3:30 - 5:15 Jazz Tree 3:30 - 5:00

Wednesday- Jazz Too 3:30 - 5:15   Jazz Tree 3:30 - 5:00

Thursday - Jazz #1 & Jazz Too 3:30 - 5:15    

Friday - NO REHEARSAL

Saturday - COMPETITION DAYS
